- Why Social Change? -

Change is a part of life. We see it all around us: in the changing of the seasons, the growth of a child, the evolution of cultural and social values from one generation to the next. All growth is a process of change. Without change, there can be no growth. Life is change, and without it, humanity cannot survive.

Nowhere is the need for social change more urgent than in developing countries. It is here that growth is most needed, here that the evolution of society is most critical. The challenges of inequality and injustice, poverty and disability, lack of education must be confronted, and creative solutions must be found, for the benefit of the whole society. Social change is an imperative.

The Colorss Foundation is committed to making a positive difference in Indian society by providing strong, self-sustaining projects for social change. From vocational training to literacy programs to establishing schools and providing better health services, we’re working hard to make our community a better place.
